The heartbreaking hope and the space disaster

I guess the passion and the fantasy, for you, ended, And I got stuck with longing and heartbreaking hope.

Such a harsh reality
Where possibilities are scarce,
Where we come from different worlds,
Where our hearts do not align.
I am too fearful to enjoy you,
As you are, we have so little time,
You are too afraid to try me,
You are too afraid to try.
So I go, search for the next hero
As you become the villain I secretly crave,
We will never sit in a dark room next to each other,
And I will never hold you in my arms again.
But we call, we still speak to each other,
You do not tell me about your life at all,
I tell you all about mine because truly
I miss your eyes and hearing your voice.
I never meant to feel your hand, but you insisted,
I guess you felt lonely, and I was easy to hold,
I tried avoiding you as much as possible,
But when I told you I didn’t want children,
You said, “it’s ok, we will instead have dogs.”
I said, “We’ll just be friends with benefits.”
You disagreed, “We never really know.”
And now I’m the one who wants a future,
And you’re the one who used his words for show.
We fight, and I pretend to hate you,
But really my heart breaks as I know I have to go,
Someday I told you in a dream,
“Please don’t let me go with other people.”
You told me, “But baby, I don’t want you, you have to let me go.”
I always knew, deep down, I was going to regret you,
But I never thought I was going to fall in love,
I guess the passion and the fantasy, for you, ended,
And I got stuck with longing and heartbreaking hope.
